Room 506 in the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. Together with the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel also known as the iconic SAS Royal Hotel, we asked the world-renowned Spanish designer Jaime Hayon to create a total design for Room 506 to match Arne Jacobsen’s original design, which is preserved in Room 606. Room 506 celebrates the relaunch of the Drop™ chair, which was created 50 years ago for the hotel, along with new designs by Jaime Hayon. Moreover, Room 506 shows how two designers can share the same passion for craftsmanship, materials and aesthetic qualities across a 50-year time gap.
